Dr. Johanna F. Godoy is a highly skilled foot and ankle surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex lower extremity conditions. Her expertise includes reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, minimally invasive procedures, diabetic limb salvage, trauma care, and comprehensive treatment of foot and ankle disorders.

Dr. Godoy has a particular passion for treating Charcot Neuroarthropathy and complex diabetic foot conditions. Utilizing advanced surgical techniques, including internal and external fixation, she helps patients restore mobility, preserve limb function, and improve their overall quality of life. Her dedication to innovation and excellence has made her a respected educator and frequent lecturer at national conferences and professional events.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Montclair State University before receiving her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Godoy completed her surgical residency training at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where she distinguished herself through clinical excellence and served as Chief Resident.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Godoy is committed to advancing the field of podiatric medicine through education and mentorship. She serves on staff at her alma mater, helping train residents and guide future podiatric physicians. Her passion for teaching reflects her dedication to improving patient care and shaping the next generation of foot and ankle specialists.

Dr. Godoy is known for her compassionate approach, taking the time to understand each patient’s unique needs and developing personalized treatment plans focused on long-term outcomes and improved mobility.

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Godoy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, working on creative DIY projects, and staying active with Peloton workouts.
